Dr Elizabeth Pickford
Dr Elizabeth Pickford has been working as a Consultant Paediatrician since 1993, and has been working with children and their families, to manage their allergies and food intolerances, since 1998.
She graduated form the University of Sydney with Honours, gaining first place in her year for Paediatrics, earning the Carnation Prize For Proficiency in Paediatrics. She completed her specialist Paediatric training at the Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children, at Camperdown, in Sydney, and has since spent many years in a busy Paediatric practice.
She works in private practice in north-western Sydney, and at the Macquarie University Hospital Centre for Paediatrics, is a Clinical Lecturer at the Macquarie University Faculty of Health Sciences. She is a member of the Paediatrics and Child Health Divisional Council of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.
Jane Dostine
Dietitian Jane Dostine completed her Masters in Human Nutrition and Dietetics at The University of Sydney in 1992. She worked in the specialist team at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital Allergy Unit for 14 years. Her expertise gained in the management of food intolerance and allergy is brought to her Castle Hill private practice.
Jane is a member of the Dietitians Association of Australia and recognized as an accredited practising dietitian. She has a Certificate in Home Economics, enjoys food and nutrition writing for the media and engages in community nutrition education.
As a mother of three children, Jane is busy practising what she preaches; healthy food and cooking, plenty of fresh air and activity, balancing work and family.
